In compliance with Section 610.023.1, RSMo, the Christian County Health Department has appointed the Administrative Assistant as the appointed custodian of the records of the Health Department and their customary workplace is located at 301 E. Brick St., Ozark, MO 65721.
The Administrative Assistant shall respond to all requests for access to or copies of a public record within the time period provided by statute except in those circumstances where a longer time for response is authorized by the statute.
The type and amount charges may vary based on type of records requested.
.10 per page for standard paper copies,
the average hourly rate of clerical staff to duplicate documents
actual cost of research time of the actual request (We will use the lowest salaried employees capable of searching/copying the records)
Fees for accessing records on other media or non standard paper copies shall reflect actual cost involved.
All fees will need to be paid by the requester at the time the records are released to the requester. The requester will also be responsible for paying the cost to mail/ship requested records which cannot be delivered electronically, and must be paid in full before records can be shipped.
It is the public policy of the Health Department that meetings, records, votes, actions, and deliberations of this body shall be open to the public except as provided by §610.021, RSMo, including but not limited to:
Privileged discussions with the Health Department's lawyers or auditors.
Certain personnel matters.
Sealed bids until opened.
Social security numbers, and certain public safety, security system, and computer access information.
Protected healthcare information as defined within the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
