Our Services
The Health Department offers a variety of health services to the Christian County community. A non-comprehensive list of services we offer include:
Infant, child, and adult immunizations
Seasonal flu shots
Blood pressure checks
Hepatitis A immunization for contracted employees
Tetanus shots following injury
Lead screening
STD screening, education and treatment
TB skin tests, treatment, and follow-up (with Doctor's order)
Pregnancy testing
Animal bite education/ follow-ups
Disease outbreak investigation
Communicable disease surveillance
Disease prevention education
A $25 office visit fee is applied to limited medical services. If you are not a resident of Christian County there will be an additional $20 out-of-county fee on certain services. Payment can be made in cash and with credit/debit on certain services.
If paying via debit/credit card, the cardholder must be present.

Medical/Clinical Services
The environmental department works to keep the county safe, from working with local food vendors to ensure all regulations and standards are being met, regulating wastewater and certifying installers, testing well water for bacteria and chemicals, and many other services as necessary.

Christian County WIC Services
Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a supplemental nutrition program with a strong emphasis on education about nutrition-based health. Christian County WIC office is located inside the Health Department building at 301 E. Brick St. Ozark, MO.
Some of WIC's services include:
Breastfeeding Counseling & Support
Nutrition counseling
Immunization screenings
Iron testing
Medical, dental & social service care referrals
Nutrition-based supplemental food program
